Welcome to this meeting of the Bay Village Board of Education. We are pleased that you are interested in educational issues and the Board appreciates your comments and concerns about our schools. A part of this meeting is set aside for community input. Individuals who live or work within the Bay Village City School District are welcome to address the Board. Others may address the Board at the discretion of the Board President.
In order for the meeting to flow smoothly, we would appreciate the following guidelines be followed by anyone wishing to address the Board of Education.
1. Please limit your comments or suggestions to five minutes or less because a full agenda follows this portion of the meeting.
2. Comments and suggestions on the school district are welcome. Personal criticisms of members of the Board of Education or employees of the school district are out of order.
3. If you would like to be recognized, please raise your hand. After being recognized, please stand and clearly state and spell your name and address for the record.
The Board responds to citizen input when it is appropriate and possible. However, it will not debate issues in the Board meeting setting. If further research is required in order to respond to an inquiry, the Superintendent or administrative staff will respond to the citizen as soon as possible, but in no longer than four days.
