Bay Village hears important message about drug abuse

Did you miss retired DEA Special Agent Bob Stutman's talk about drugs in our community?

Here is the complete roundup of his message, handouts, news coverage, etc.

You can dispose of unused medication ANY DAY of the week by using the locked receptacle in the Bay Village Police Department lobby. There is no need to leave your name or go to the reception window.
Please keep these drugs out of the wrong hands!

Westerly students hear from Bay Village police

In light of some recent reports of strangers speaking to children, Bay Village police were invited to talk to Westerly students (grades 3 and 4) about how to stay safe when out in the public. You can view a video of their presentation here.

(Normandy Elementary students were given age-appropriate advice by their school counselor, Megan Basel.)

(Note that the bottom portion of video is blurred to screen out student images.)

Meet the School Board

In our second video in a series Board of Education member Dr. Gayatry Jacob-Mosier and her daughter, Bay High junior Jessica Mosier, discuss the importance of school co-curricular activities, both to developing the "whole child" and how these activities enrich our entire community. Superintendent Clint Keener hosts.

Watch for more discussions with our other board members in the months to come.

Website calendars offer many options

School dates and details are available on our website Calendars page.

New phone app puts school calendars, staff directory, news and more at your fingertips

Our new smart phone app will make it easy to check a calendar date, to get an important news alert, or to find the Contact Information of a staff member and then click on an email address, phone number or classroom web page and connect instantly!

Local Bay Village Schools parent, Mark Mutch, owner of Modern Media, developed the app. Mark also developed a similar app for our Bay High student newspaper, The Bay Window, making it one of the first high school newspapers in the country to go online with its own app.

Get the app on your smart phone:
